Upstream on the Potomac

Looking upstream from the point of land at Harpers Ferry where the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers meet. Here we look under the historic steel railroad bridge, which currently serves as the crossing point for the Appalachian Trail. So many cool things come together in one area.

Just Hanging Out

One of our favorite lunch spot waterfalls on the Shenandoah. Even in the hottest part of the summer this stream runs cold, in the high 60’s, due to immense springs that feed it.

Bachelor River

This awesome group of guys (10 Groomsmen 1 Groom) from NC asked us to put together a rafting trip down the Potomac’s Mather Gorge at Great Falls National Park.  Sean Podrecca from Potomac Paddlesports and I jumped in to pull this crazy trip off.
